ASI Celebrates it's 18th anniversary and is named on the Top 100 Best Companies List.
St. Petersburg FL, August 17, 2015 - ASI is growing by leaps and bounds. Not only does the company employ almost 500 at its beautiful St. Petersburg headquarters, it also employs out-of-state personnel who market to and service independent insurance agents and homeowners across the country.
ASI is more than thrilled to be named to the Top 100 Best Companies list. This month the company also is celebrating another milestone – its 18th anniversary. Employees at the 13-acre campus can’t say enough great things about what it’s like to work for ASI. The onsite day care, gym, recreation room, and basketball and sand volleyball courts are continually named by the employees as some of the perks they love. The office space provides plenty of natural light, collaboration areas, superior construction, and a setting that allows for a workplace culture like no other. Ask any ASI employee, and they will tell you that the outstanding company culture starts with having a positive attitude.
"ASI has treated me like a king since day one," employee Tom Long says. "They give me the opportunity to grow and flourish in a very positive, uplifting, and nourishing environment. It makes me enjoy coming to work every day and doing my part to make this company the gold standard in our industry."
The annual Best Companies list is featured in the August issue of Florida Trend magazine. One-hundred companies are ranked in small-, medium-, and large-employer categories.
To participate, companies or government entities had to employ at least 15 workers in Florida and have been in operation at least one year. Companies that chose to participate underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
"Top companies understand that younger employees expect their firms to operate with modern equipment and offer employees a chance to contribute almost immediately," Andy Corty, Florida Trend’s publisher, says. "Then new workers will accept the organization’s core values with high energy. It's our pleasure to recognize them and encourage others to build Florida's competitive advantage."
The Best Companies To Work For In Florida program was created by Florida Trend and Best Companies Group and is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. Best Companies Group managed the registration, survey, and analysis and determined the final rankings.
