ASI Offers Arizona Investors and Seasonal Residents Property Insurance Coverage

St. Petersburg, FL (APRIL 16, 2009) - ASI, an admitted Arizona insurer, is announcing the launch of an innovative Dwelling Fire policy to complement its existing Homeowner product.  ASI began writing Arizona homeowners policies in March of 2008, through its network of independent insurance agents. The new product provides flexible coverage options to homeowners, investors, seasonal residents, and owners of homes under construction.  ASI’s President and CEO, John Auer, said "We are excited to launch our dwelling fire product in the Arizona marketplace. Our objective is to offer residents and investors an appealing coverage alternative to other carriers in the state." Residents seeking coverage should consult a local ASI independent agent.

The Dwelling Fire product serves an important need in the marketplace by providing stand-alone coverage - investors do not need to place their primary residence with ASI.  The program also offers flexible coverage options such as optional loss of rents coverage and multiple discounts including a unique Certified Property Manager Discount.

ASI, a $500M carrier, has more than 400,000 policyholders throughout Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, Arizona, and South Carolina. The company specializes in personal lines property insurance and also offers Flood coverage as a Write Your Own (WYO) Flood Service Provider. The company is licensed in 15 other states with plans to expand nationally. ASI currently holds an A- (Excellent) Rating by A.M. Best.
